Slingshot is a web app that helps you plan the launch of your new product in five minutes. The project consists on the design of the brand’s logo, the user interface and user experience of the app, as well as the design and development of the product’s sells web page.

It is important to highlight that the general idea of this product’s app, its image and the design were carried out in a 24-hour Challenge set up by Bryan Harris in Nashville, in which I took part as freelance designer. Next we will see the different parts of the project, starting with the sales page.

Despite the fact this was the last phase of the project we are going to analyze it in the first place because all the aspects of the brand and the app are reflected in it. With a one page site that has a long vertical scrolling we represent all the product’s features, with a clean, simple and fresh style, very representative of the tool.

The web is made of various sections, among which How it Works, Features, Pricing or Testimonials stand out. This part of the project was developed in three phases. Firstly the page structure, working on the user experience; then the graphic design and finally the web development, including the responsive version. In order to make the web more attractive we used some illustrations that make the project’s visit lighter, more fun, and that are used to show different features.

24-HOUR CHALLENGE

As we have previously mentioned this project was born as a 24-hour challenge. During an intense working day, 20th February 2016, I met with a team of developers and entrepreneurs of great talent and we worked to create the basic version of the idea Bryan suggested – what would be Slingshot – in just 24 hours.

That working day we designed the logo (the one that has been maintained until the launch of the tool) and the basic screens of the app, starting with the basic structure and keeping up with the user interface.

Agogo Interactive is a startup created in New York, focused in online marketing for small businesses.

It’s fields are proximity marketing and positioning, and after being recognized as Best Marketing Agency of Queens in 2015 by “Best Of Queens” website, Agogo has launched this website to commercialize its services.

The web’s main features are a clean and simple design, the use of a previously created logo, designs that explain Agogo’s operation system and its adaptability to all formats and devices.
